NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in the Village of Eagle, on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, the following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed.  The term for village trustee begins on April 18, 2017.  All terms are for two years unless otherwise indicated.

Type E Notice (Absentee Voting Information): TYPE E - Posting April General Election 2017


How do I register to vote? Voter Registration can be completed in the Village Clerk’s Office at 820 E. Main St. by filling out a Voter Registration Application, downloadable by visiting:


and providing valid proof of residence prior to 5:00pm the Friday preceding the election or on election day.  Applications with valid proof of residence can also be mailed to the Village Clerk at P.O. Where do I vote? Village of Eagle voters will enter the Eagle Municipal Building on the East side of the building at the Village Hall entrance.  Please be sure to bring a photo ID to vote in this election.  Information on acceptable forms of photo ID can be found by visiting: www.bringit.wi.gov.

Can I absentee vote prior to the election if I am not able to vote on election day? Yes.  Registered Wisconsin voters can request an absentee ballot be mailed to them by submitting to the Village Clerk an Application for Absentee Ballot, downloadable at http://www.gab.wi.gov/forms/el-121-english.  Your application must be received by the clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be SENT to you.  You will also need to provide a copy of your acceptable photo ID with your request.  You can also vote absentee in the clerk's office.  If you apply for an absentee ballot in your municipal clerk's office, you will vote your ballot immediately in the clerk's office, seal your ballot in the proper envelope, and return it to a member of the clerk's staff.  No ballots may be taken out of the clerk's office. You will need to show your acceptable photo ID for voting when voting by in-person absentee ballot. 

Absentee voting in the Village office will begin as soon as ballots are available.  Hours for absentee voting in the Clerk’s office are as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am-6:00pm

Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm
